I can understand why some people would be annoyed after buying a game with their hard-earned pennies only to find that its big box was practically empty. Today, I was dusting the old shelf and went through a few games reminiscing...
Ghouls 'n' Ghosts has a flimsy folded manual and the floppies. That's all. Imagine spending £19.99 on what is basically the game and a piece of paper with the instructions (like you need that). Okay, it's an ace (if killer) game but the contents are so lame. Not even a poster!
Compare that to something else? Hmm, say Domark's Mig-29. What a box this is!! This is when many publishers went that extra mile - just check out the screenshots here. The manuals are a burden in themselves and I doubt I'll ever read them. But that's not the point, is it ;-)
