The next day she started booking tickets for her trip. Since she didn’t have a job she could leave any time she wanted to. She had inherited the house from her parents. The apartment below her was currently rented and John would surely check in if something happened while she was gone. Definitely a plus to her situation.
First she would visit Europe and then travel east. She mapped out some points but also left enough time to explore those places free. Maybe she could also see the start of a spacecraft. Several years ago the first person was successfully retrieved from cryosleep. Now they started to send out people into space. But the price was way more than she could afford. So for now the trip around the globe would have to be enough.
It was almost evening when a knock on the door got her attention.
