“All the spices you need! Best quality!” the merchant shouted. It was very busy at the basar. Another merchant approached her: “Miss, you want sphinx?”
Stella shook her head and took a step back. It was mesmerising to see all the colors and drink in all the aromas. But the noise and the pushy merchants were overwhelming.
“Beautiful jewelry for lovely woman.” Shaking her head she simply marched on and escaped into an alleyway. It surprised her. She had always prefered the busy life. But at the moment it was too much.
Lost in thoughts she stopped at a drapery dealer. Richly embroidered scarves were hanging outside and she just lightly touched them. The silk felt cool and soft below her hand. A sigh of relief escaped her lips. It was exquisite. She wanted to feel it all over her skin.
“It feels good,” a woman stated and startled Stella. Her jet black hair already sported slight grey streaks but her smile was very warm and welcoming. Stella simply nodded and ran her hand through the airy fabric.
“Have a cup of tea.” The woman waved her in and she just followed. In a corner the woman sat down beside a small table. Hurriedly she placed another cup out and poured in tea. “Sit, please.”
Stella sat down and nodded a thank you.
“All scarves handmade.” The woman smiled broadly and took her needlework up again. It was a deep blue scarf. Carefully Stella took the other end and spread it out. Stunned, she took in the splendid work of art. It was a map of the sky. Each constellation precisely stitched in with a golden thread.
The woman must have noted her gaze. “Almost done. You like?” Stella nodded and knew she had found a souvenir for herself.

I didn't really like the decorations in my previous pages, it was so much that didn't really fit together. So that day (and because I didn't have any fitting stickers, only that one book page) I jumped over my shadow and made some sketches in my journal. The pages are quite thin so I had to be careful not to bleed through. So far I liked the result a lot more than the previous pages.
