Join me for a 2-hour live workshop exploring AI through a feminist and Global South lens. We’ll unpack the power structures shaping today’s AI systems: from colonial histories and gendered design to the myth of technological salvation.
This session is grounded in the same themes that sparked my viral TikTok and my latest Substack article. We’ll reflect on the work of Ruha Benjamin, Timnit Gebru, Abeba Birhane, and others, and together, start imagining alternative approaches to AI that center justice, care, and collective wisdom.
Expect a mix of critical insight, open conversation, and a space to co-create.
