Offri un caffè a Ashley Lane

Hello! 👋

I'm the creator of #AskAnArtist with Ashley Lane Studios, a feature where I solve "everyday" art problems, and answer the community's burning questions about art/design.  #AskAnArtist runs on locally sourced coffee and the support of our AWESOME community!

If my content helped you recently, please consider leaving me a tip!

Sincerely,

Ashley Lane

P.S. You rock!

Post Post Script F.A.Q.

1) What are your qualifications? How do I know I'm getting high quality art advice?

• I have spent a decade studying, practicing, and making art.
• I earned my Master of Fine Arts ( it is a terminal degree, like a Doctor's) and a minor in Art and Architecture history from Texas A&M University.
• I have taught Graphic Design and Photography at the university level.
• I've created art, photography, and designs for small businesses and non-profits across Texas.  My fine art has been shown across the great plains and Brazos Valley regions of Texas.
• I've won regional awards for the presentation of my artistic research.
• I co-presented art research at a competitive international symposium in Hong Kong (the International Symposium on Electronic Art).

2) How does my contribution help? What does it pay for?

• keeping #AskAnArtist community focused, community funded, and free to those who need it most.
• offsetting the studio costs (supplies, creative software licenses, time, and effort) it takes to thoroughly research your questions and dazzle you with our answers.
• letting me know when I did an awesome job so I know to create more content like it.
• empowering me to do even bigger and better things in the future! (expanding my content beyond LinkedIn, and interviewing guest artists are some goals I'd love to work toward).
• COFFEE! (I buy all my coffee and beans from local coffee shops, so your donation helps indirectly support other amazing small businesses)

3) I can't afford to donate today...  /  How else can I contribute?

• like, comment, and share #AskAnArtist content.
• tell your friends how our content has helped and/or inspired you.
• like community comments with questions you want answered, too.
• submit an art question you want answered by commenting your question under #AskAnArtist content.
• recommend Ashley Lane Studios to anyone you know who is looking to hire a good artist/ graphic designer/ photographer/ consultant.  Landing paid commissions or contract jobs helps me indirectly fund the content I offer to the community for free.
