Imagination has no bounds.
When I was a kid, reading was one of my favorite pastimes. It all started when my mom bought me some small children's books. I got books like Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, and even the Little Match Girl and the Princess and the Pea. By the way, she bought the children's book versions, not the original dark versions of the novel, okay?😂
Then, from the kiddie books, she introduced me to Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. Then, she also bought me a book about Helen Keller's Teacher.
When I was in elementary school, Harry Potter became famous, and for quite some time I was a Potterhead, enjoying group discussions with my friends about it. Then, in high school, I wrote a book report on Black Beauty, a story about a black horse written by Anna Sewell.
If you have already read some of my entries here in the Storyroom, high school is the period of my life when I realized I wanted to be a writer but was not lucky enough to be part of my school paper back then. Then, I wrote a super-cringey handwritten book that I literally threw away after I finished it.
Which brings us to the present, where I decided to rediscover my writing again. After being fed up with being laid off in corporate, I found a work-from-home job that helped me realize that I can do this again.
Why am I calling this the Amber Silkwater Universe?
There are moments when we read something and don't want the story to end.
As readers, we want to savor the moment with our favorite characters. I decided to make the Amber Silkwater Universe so that when you enjoy reading my free books online, you'll get a chance to see what could be going on with the characters beyond the book.
That idea fascinates me because imagine Ethan and Chelsea could be sitting alongside you if you feel alone in a coffee shop, drinking your favorite drink. These weirdos could accompany you whenever you are.
The universe started with the book, then the world was being discovered through ASSNN (Amber Silkwater Storyroom News Network) because, in reality, we get a glimpse of people's lives and the trending topics people discuss through news.
Well, obviously, the only difference between ASSNN and the absurd real news we absorb every day is that mine is fictional and the crimes in every breaking news story still have a conscience. If you don't know what satire is, just google it. 😂
TSGIMN is your stepping stone. If you couldn't relate to my posts here in the Storyroom (aka buy me a coffee), it would be best for you to catch up on some reading so you get how weird my writing is. :)

That's a brief explanation for you, lazy reader.
As of the moment, I went on a one-week break from writing my book 2 because I am fed up with it. But since I didn't write anything, my brain shifted and filled up with more things in the Storyroom. lol. But hey, still a big win for you if you read this until this part.
