Whether it is advice on how to be successful on this platform, which tags to use, or what topics to write about, Medium seems to be bombarded with articles surrounding writing. Don’t get me wrong, there is great advice out there but sometimes it can be overwhelming.
Learning about your craft from people who have done it longer than you is a great thing. However, I have learned to not forget why I am writing in the first place. Seeing people enjoy, laugh, and/or learn from my writing is the reason I write.
I better wrap it up as this is a short-form article after all. Read to improve and learn but remember why you started writing. Read something that will make you laugh, take a deep breath and write.
