Über Ash Hart
local AI apps, open-source tools and free MLX models
I'm Ash, an independent developer building AI tools for the hardware you own, across Apple Silicon and NVIDIA systems.
SparkPilot is my app for using a DGX Spark from your iPhone, iPad or Mac, with guided setup, model controls and chat. It's available through TestFlight, and I'm continuing to develop it as a free app with no ads.
Through Vontra, I publish free MLX model conversions on Hugging Face, with setup notes, testing results and known limitations.
My open-source projects include OpenBOT, a desktop app that brings agent CLIs into one place; TensorFold, an experimental runtime for running models with less resident memory; and Cortheon, an alpha runtime that helps agents check evidence and task completion.
If you've found one of my models or tools useful, buying me a coffee helps cover compute, storage and the time spent building, testing and fixing things. Support is optional, the public models stay free, and a contribution doesn't buy a guaranteed release or priority support.
You can explore SparkPilot at sparkpilot.dev, find my models at huggingface.co/Vontra, and browse the code at github.com/ashhart.
Thanks for supporting my work.
