To make art is to serve. Art is not self-referential, but points to something beyond itself. Both as artist and artisan, I aspire to fashion works not only infused with beauty, truth, and goodness, but also imbued with the prayers which I will offer for you and your intentions as I work. In contemplating not only the beauty of your finished piece, but also the iconic meaning of its very formation, I hope to raise your heart, mind, and soul to Him who gives us every gift that is good.
