The Folklore

Of the convenience store.

Robin Hood And A Robin Red Breast

Heading off way out west

Seeking The best bargain shops

The archer stops

A black hole taking his feathered friend

Which would have been a terrible end

Distracted by daydream imagination

Thinking the black hole was a portal to instant migration.

Fortunately the Outlaw foresaw

And saved the day

Firing arrows to drive the vortex away

The Red Breast wasn't lost

And they bought their shopping at a very modest cost..…

Not over-spending

Quite rare for me to pen a poem with such a happy ending.
