Thanks for buying me a cup of coffee and for a show of support. You can donate any amount you feel comfortable with. Your help lets me know that even though you can't purchase art right now, you appreciate what I'm doing and would like to help me continue to be a self supporting artist. I truly appreciate that!

Here is a little description of my process with painting.

I look for poetry in the light and atmosphere in a scene. Painting for me is like meditation. It is an attention consuming process of observing and responding whether it's on location or in the studio. I mix colors, make marks and push paint around reacting to the subject before me and surroundings. The result is a record of my responses to what I see and feel about the reference, location, light, and atmosphere in paint. It's not a copy. There is a point, as the work evolves, when the painting becomes its own reference. The process is a dance between reaction and control while trying to capture the poetry I see, on site or in the studio.
