Today I share with you a little blast from the not-so-distant past. Being born under the sign of Leo, it obviously didn't take long for me to want to draw a lion.
She took 25+ hours from start to finish and an insane amount of detail. It was with this drawing that I started to fall in love with the finer details of animal portraiture.
Materials:
Derwent Graphite pencils
A3 Smooth 120gsm Sketchbook paper
Mono Zero Eraser
Blending Stumps
