Sostieni Archive SCV

ArchiveSCV is a digital library preserving Santa Clarita's independent media history — a work in progress, built collection by collection.

The first collection is now live: the complete SCV Talk archive (2006–2015). SCV Talk was the valley's pioneering community news blog, founded by Jeff Wilson in 2006 — citizen journalism, daily news briefs, and nine years of unfiltered local conversation, from development fights to school board races, that exists nowhere else. When the site went dark, that record went with it. ArchiveSCV recovered it from web captures and rebuilt it as a free, searchable reading edition: 2,193 posts and 68,690 reader comments, preserved as published.

More of the valley's lost independent media is on the recovery list. Contributions cover hosting, domains, and the recovery work that brings each next collection in — the archive itself is free and always will be.

ArchiveSCV is built and maintained by Nathan Imhoff, an aspiring historian who has called Santa Clarita home for twenty years — and got tired of watching its history vanish from the internet.
