Hey guys,

Ara here, Ara the Rogue.

I own and run a website called the Purgatorium, maybe you've heard of it?

If not that's okay. I write web novels, most of the fantasy genre with a sprinkling of sci-fi. I post a weekly raw chapter available for free on my site.

I currently have several works in process. These include:

Neweth Chapters

ANGEL

Thief's Log

High & Low

The Half Life Project

Ghost: A Being of Unimaginable Cold.

The tales follow heroes, and sometimes not so virtuous figures. Kings and the faithful. Thieves and farmers. That is just to denote a few.

Neweth Chapters

The stories of adventurers within the world of Neweth, a land with a history steeped in blood and war.

Old grudges rear their ugly heads and the problems of the forefathers reappear threefold.

The first book follows the healer, Chrissa and her journey across the land to save someone that she holds dear. Noting will be the same at the end of her long journey.

The second book is still to come...

ANGEL

The angels of religious mythology exist, but not in the way that you would expect.

A man calling himself Michael crash lands in the middle of a highway. He is picked up by police officers Bell and Perry.

Michael is an odd one. He calls himself an ANGEL and says that he is not of Earth.

But before Bell and Perry can take him to the drunk tank for the night, Michael proves his claim.

With the fate of everything they know in the balance, Bell and Perry decide to help this innocent seeming ANGEL.

Michael and his kin are here to save the world. All they have to do is find the key. Unfortunately they have no idea what or where it could be.

Thief's Log

A young girl loses everything.

The world seems to shun all the lost children. They have no value to society except as slaves and future whores.

She become bitter and cold, but also even more protective of the precious things that she found.

This tale follows the diary of that girl and retells points of significance in her life growing up on the streets.

A thief.

A rogue.

A girl, who just wanted a family.

High & Low

Heath Collwood leaves home in search of adventure.

He hopes to follow in the footsteps of his elder siblings, and not simply take over the family business as he Mother insists.

Heath has a map and he is certain that he's cracked the code to a treasure from the old world. However, as always there's a catch.

The location of the treasure is hidden on the Lost Continent which has been uncharted for at least 100 years since the cataclysm hit.

Heath employs the help of an urchin called Sahra, after she tries to rob him. The two manage to hire Captain Ramtine and his eccentric crew aboard the Israel.

Chaos and riches await.

The Half Life Project

What if mythical being walked amongst us?

What if some of us were mythical beings, only in another life?

Henry Gardener is a normal human. He does his best to support his younger brother and sister so that they can both finish their educations, as Henry wasn't able to.

Everything was fine.

Except for his unfulfilled life, his mother's mental illness, and the huge debt that his father left before abandoning them. Henry thought that he was in control.

Then a strange man gave Henry a gift.

That was the night Henry died.

Afterwards he was given a choice that he couldn't refuse.

But every wish comes at a price...

Ghost: A Being of Unimaginable Cold

The quiet town of Ilawa holds many secrets.

Some call it the Pale Bastian.

It stands before a place of great magic, a frozen frontier upon which no human can survive.

The 'Ghost' guards the boundary. Or so it's said.

The masked figure has existed for as long as human memory.

It has become the subject of many legends.

But what is the truth beyond the veil of snow?

Ashen is determined to find out, and to save the man he acknowledges as a father who was taken by the Ghost two years ago.
