I am April Chapman, host of The Standard of Truth Podcast. I am a wife, homeschooling Mom of four and a small business owner. Hosting The Standard of Truth Podcast is a labor of love. I love people and I love to TALK. Honoring God with this platform allows me to lend my commentary to a number of theological, social, cultural, political and education issues from a biblical perspective.
WHY SHOULD YOU SUPPORT THE SHOW?
The voices of Christian Content Creators are actively being suppressed. The message of Jesus Christ and him crucified is not popular, however we are still charged with the responsibility to proclaim it. We are at war, but for the believer, here is what we know:
"For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.: -2 Corinthians 10: 3-5
The Standard of Truth Podcast exist to use God's word, the only objective standard of truth, against thoughts, opinions and ideologies that are raised against the knowledge of God. This show endeavors to be an echo, not a quick sound bite. Being a parrot of what God has spoken in his word isn't popular, but it is what we are called to do. I'd love for you to join me on this journey, as I create video and audio content for the spiritual wellbeing of my audience but ultimately for the glory of our great God and King.
What Your Support Allows Me To Do
Hosting a podcast is so much harder than it looks. The technological learning curve is fierce, but I am up for the challenge. Producing a quality show requires quality tools, resources and equipment. I understand the importance of providing a great viewer experience and therefore I strive to create the highest level of content I can with the monetary resources I am afforded. When you donate to support the show, funds are used for equipment, subscription services, internet, electricity, graphic design, editing software and much much more. In addition to this, now that the podcast is growing I am often invited to speak. Many times, organizations have a modest budget. Funds generated from the podcast can help offset travel and accommodation costs associated with speaking engagements.

God qualifies you for what he called you to do through the power of the Holy spirit, through the equipping of his Word. Because you can't do this on your own.God qualified you, me and other through the power of the Holy Ghost. Before Jesus was taken up into heaven after resurrection, he told his disciples , you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses.
