I am (MFA, BFA) a Queer Xicana-Tejana, choreographer, educator, writer, and collaborator. She researches and explores embodiment, technology, and the epistemology of dance. I engage in intersectional mental health utilizing dance methodologies and practices as adaptive models for mental wellness. My project The Body As Land, explores embodied writing as a practice which brings the body closer to the earth and incites, generates, and derives language from an embodied relationship to the land. 

My writing has been recently published in the Somos Xicanas anthology, published by Somos En Escrito, and by OyeDrum, an intersectional feminist magazine and my work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
