Have you ever just wanted to send a file to the person sitting right next to you, but got stuck dealing with Bluetooth pairing, creating accounts, or joining the same Wi-Fi network? I built SoundShare to solve exactly that.
SoundShare uses ultrasonic audio pairing and WebRTC to let you transfer files between any two devices (iOS, Android, PC, Mac) instantly—without installing a single app or registering an account.
Why is it free? I believe utility tools should just work. Because SoundShare uses a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) architecture, your files go directly from your device to your friend's device. They never touch my servers, which keeps the app lightning-fast, 100% private, and completely free to use.
Why support me? While the file transfers are P2P, keeping the website online, paying for the signaling servers that initially connect the devices, and hosting the domain still costs money out of my own pocket.
