In USA 🇺🇸 which is a 30 trillion dollar economy, vaccines are free, India 🇮🇳 is not even a 3 trillion dollar economy. It has the largest number of poor people found in any country in the world. These vaccines should be free. To charge eve a dollar or a rupee for them, is shameful.
Am glad that the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has made this observation now.
The only question is, is this observation part of the Court order or direction, or is it just an observation made during the hearing without finding it self in a written order. That is what shall make all the difference in a country that insists on everything being on paper (kagaz dikhao that you were born here? Kagaz dikhao that you are still alive?)
