Behind the Scenes: The Day Sionareth Realized It Had No Guardian

Aug 11, 2026

imageIt all began with a simple Facebook challenge: “Create an image of a guardian — a being whose presence watches over land, sea, sky, or the lives beneath it. Your guardian may be mythical, spiritual, elemental, or entirely your own invention.”

A fun prompt. A harmless prompt. And yet… it hit me like a hammer.

Because my world — Sionareth — had no guardian. No protector. No cosmic overseer.

Other worlds have a guy in a bat costume. Or an alien in a red‑and‑blue spandex suit. And here I was, the so‑called “spiritual father” of Sionareth, realizing I had forgotten to give my world even a single guardian.

Shame washed over me. A deep, crimson shame. The kind that makes your face match Vaelor’s glow.

I immediately went looking for our team sociologist. Unfortunately, he still hasn’t returned from the mandatory group therapy session he left for about a week ago, claiming he’d “be right back.” So that was a dead end.

Our planetary geologist volunteered to fill in — enthusiastically. I declined. He insisted. And before I could stop him, he declared that the guardians’ seat of power should be Nyokap Ridge.

I had to admit… it was a good choice.

Then our cosmologist — affectionately nicknamed “Rocketman” — chimed in with a revelation:

“Sionareth already has four guardians. Two suns. Two moons.”

And that was it. We didn’t wait for the sociologist. We didn’t schedule a meeting. We didn’t even pretend to be organized.

We simply sat down and created the Legend of the Four Guardians of Sionareth.

A legend born from a Facebook challenge, a missing sociologist, an over‑eager geologist, and a cosmologist who sees the universe in everything.

And now the world has its guardians. Not because it needed them — but because today, the world decided it was time.
