Hi, my name is Merlin, and I’m the founder of Another Dream, a social-impact tech initiative.
I’m raising funds to build our first project, Not Alone, a platform designed to help people access essential help—food, clothing, basic items, or urgent support—when they need it the most. We together will ensure that no one end up lives without getting the basic needs done.
Every day, people struggle silently during hard moments, not because help doesn’t exist, but because asking feels difficult, uncomfortable, or undignified. At the same time, millions of usable items and acts of kindness go unused because people don’t know where or how to help.
Not Alone builds the bridge. It allows people to request what they truly need and enables others nearby to help instantly. Recipients contribute a small $1 appreciation fee to encourage responsible use, while helpers give freely.
This project matters deeply to me because I’ve seen how a small amount of timely support can change someone’s entire direction. Not Alone is about dignity, reuse, and making kindness accessible when it matters most.
How the funds will be used
