For Dia de Los Muertos this year, I had the pleasure of doing a sweet little popup event, where I was able to offer free samples of pan de muerto (day of the dead bread) and hot cocoa at the Blumenauer Bridge as part of EcoLloyd’s ‘Witching Hour’ bike celebration.
I think the experiment was a great success! People of all ages were delighted to have a warm cup of cocoa and sample of Mexican sweet bread which I got from La Tapatia Mexican Supermarket in East Portland.
