Being a writer can sometimes be unnerving. The self-doubt that comes with being a writer is massive and sometimes it gets so loud in my head. They tell me, “Why don’t you do something that pays? Why don’t you be an engineer or a grab a job in administration? That’ll definitely pay well.” I can’t shut them entirely. But I also can’t delude myself into thinking that I’m not a writer....
