Hello and a very warm welcome!

I'm Angela Dunning and my Equine Facilitated Learning practice is 'The Horse's Truth' (originally called Equine Reflections). I am an Eponaquest Equine Facilitated Learning practitioner with over 20 years' experience in this field and in the realm of personal and spiritual growth and development. I'm also the author of The Horse Leads the Way: Honoring the True Role of the Horse in Equine Facilitated Practice.

Some of you will already be familiar with my work and approach from my popular Facebook Page The Horse's Truth with Angela Dunning and I'm delighted to be sharing this additional resource with you, where I'll be creating additional inspiring content, practice tips and resources to support Equine Facilitated/Assisted practitioners.

Whether you are new to this profession or more experienced, I hope to provide you with guidance, support and insights. My aim is for this page to become a resource and support hub for Equine Facilitated/Assisted practitioners and for those seeking personal growth and healing.

My work is underpinned and informed by the teachings of Linda Kohanov best-selling author and founder of Eponaquest; Jungian depth psychology; HeartMath; trauma-sensitive approaches, with a particular interest in early childhood developmental trauma; Polyvagal Theory and IFS/Parts-work; as well as nature-based spirituality and Shamanism, and mindfulness, all through a somatic, embodied approach.
