Hello there, my name is Paul and this is one of my little bits of interweb space. But what do I do? What's my story?

I write, take photos and talk with a focus mainly on Paris but I look at things from a down-to-earth perspective. And that's because I'm down-to-earth. I appreciate nice things although I much prefer everyday things. Whilst Paris is filled with opulence, there is also much available for regular people, with a regular upbringing and a slightly worse-than-regular bank balance.

My basic works can be found for free on An Englishman in Paris blog, on my Instagram posts, by listening to the Coffee Pot Conversations podcast or watching the latest videos on the Coffee Pot Conversations YouTube channel.

How can you help me and show appreciation? One way is to buy me a coffee.
