NFT Due Diligence Checklist - Template

Let's face it, have you ever done your research before investing into some random NFT project?

We researched over 350 NFT / Defi projects between 2020 and 2022 for the SKY DAO, Kiniroo and other projects.

This is the checklist I used, a battle tested pdf, 5 pages in total.


Why a checklist?
It gives you a starting point to know what should you look into. 
You don't need to fill all out, it is merely an assistant for you to not overlook obvious red flags.


The main point is to take your time to analyse these projects, except if it is pure play money. Use burner wallets for this.

If a project is worth it, it is worth it even if you are not on the whitelist and buy in later.

There is a lot of hype in NFT projects when marketing is done right, and I have seen twitter accounts that had over 70% bots hyping projects.

If you are new to NFT:
• When the mint is rushed, take it slow
• When the mint is expensive, take it slow.
• When the team is fully anonymous, take it slow.
• When they have no collaboration with official companies/brands, take it slow.
• When the roadmap looks generic, unspecific like they do all & nothing, take it slow.
• When the hype is almost cult-ish, take it slow.


Never give anyone your seed phrase - Not to a verification tool. Not to a bot. Not to a popup.
