So as you know Anna is currently living in Türkiye and has been since March 2022, Anna is on a tourist visa which must be renewed every six months.
Well Friday 6th March is the day that it is up for renewal, it’s pretty much a lottery these days whether you get one or not!
As we still can not apply for a U.K. spouse visa until the end of my Tax year in April 26 (when I have to be showing 29k profit) or if not we can’t apply for another year!
So you can begin to imagine the anxiety we are both feeling right now.
Anna moved to Türkiye in 2022 so we would still have the ability to see each other,
Four years later and Anna is still there.

If a visa is not granted in Türkiye you get 10 days to leave.
For Anna it’s not just a case of packing a bag and jumping on a plane to destination unknown???????
But the fact that we have a two dogs and four,five, six cats, all to move. All to have jabs, all to have passports. (An accumulation of living alone in a foreign country for four years.)
Because the U.K. government changed the visa rules and kept us living in two countries, along with several rent hikes in Türkiye, our savings have become somewhat depreciated.
I have also just seen that a missile has just been shot down heading to Türkiye, more anxiety..
I’m stating to not make sense! No
