Brad swears he hates red wine casked whisk(e)ys, and then this little beast came along.
Originally from the the good folk of Thomson Whisky, this lovely kiwi drop was bottled by The Heart Cut and packaged in their branding as bottling #19. Aged in pinot noir casks, this thing brings the fruit, sweetness and sherry notes. 51.5%, and DOES NOT taste like it. This drop is seriously drinkable.
If we did an ANZAC episode in 2026, what would be something Aussie we could put it up against? Probably something from a red wine cask as well, but open to suggestions!?
