My Story

​

I’ve always been spiritual, even as a child—sensitive to energy. For a long time, I thought I was just imagining it, or I’d search for logical explanations. Sometimes I didn’t believe myself or my feelings. I trusted others’ versions of truth over my own. Having ADHD, i learned to mask completely and ended up with addictions.

As I got older, I carried a lot of emotional baggage and unresolved trauma from my childhood. Combined with the sensitivity I already had, I dove headfirst into spirituality and self development—at first as an escape. I read everything I could, learned as much as possible, but avoided the harder work of looking within. My shadow was waiting, and eventually, I had to meet it.

Counselling was a turning point for me. I started doing deep shadow work, and with it, my spiritual senses began to evolve in a more grounded way. Over the last 5 years, I’ve committed to the inner work—building a relationship with myself, nature and connecting with my ancestors, learning to listen to the universe and trusting my own intuition.

Alongside my path, I’ve always worked with people. I spent over a decade in community development, and trained in areas like counselling skills, youth and community work. I’ve supported care-experienced people, those facing homelessness, disabilities, people who face barriers and young carers—work that has always been rooted in compassion, social justice.

Everything I do is shaped by my spirit, my excitment, connection to earth/source and to social justice. It’s in my values, my way of being, and how I connect with others. I created Marr Magic from a deep desire to hold space for others on their spiritual journey—to support people in stepping into their power, reconnecting with themselves, and knowing they’re not alone. No question is too silly. No experience is too strange.

I’ve learned so much about myself, healing, and spiritual connection—and I know this path is never finished. I’m excited to keep growing, to meet others along the way, and to keep learning!.
