Відомості Ancient Athens 3D
creating educational historical 3d reconstructions
Ancient Athens 3D (www.AncientAthens3d.com) was created back in 2008 as a hobby, in order to show the history of Athens and its monuments with the help of 3d technology.
Since then, the models are being constantly replaced by new, more detailed and accurate ones, always following the latest international archaeological research available.
All these years the content is provided online for free to everyone, for educational reasons and the images and videos are being used in universities, schools, books, journals etc.
Ancient Athens 3D never had companies, institutes or any production behind to provide funds for its creation. It is a personal project often enhanced with the advice of archaeology specialists who also provide their knowledge for free. Ancient Athens 3D is in constant need for new or updated models of monuments, landscapes etc., all as scientifically accurate as possible.
With your support Ancient Athens 3D will be able to provide and maintain a high standard content and website!
