Search the horizon. If you find it, go for it. If you don’t, create yours.

Time doesn’t exist. It’s an invention of the human being. And even if I know this, I hate wasting time. I hear a little ticking at the back of my mind that keeps reminding me that life doesn’t wait for anyone to start living. And when I get aware of that annoying ticking, and when I get aware of the fact that time is passing by without me noticing it, I ask my inner self: what does life even means? Why do I have to keep waking up day after day? Studying, working, working out day after day. Always the same story. Always the same bad things happening. Always the same negative thoughts. What is the reason behind all of that? Why are we here, in the middle of nowhere? Why do I, a tiny dot inside an infinite universe, have to keep doing this? And the most important question: what is life’s purpose?

We wake up another day. We study. We go to work. We meet with friends. We eat. We shower. And we go to sleep because another day has passed by. Just for what? We live in a world where almost everyone has run out of motivation, inspiration and even has run out of willing to live. Why, though?

People run out of motivation, of inspiration and run out of willing to live because they don’t have a purpose. They don’t have the need to keep breathing because they think: we are all going to die anyways, so why keep doing it? Why keep fighting?

But there is where I wanted to get: we are all going to die. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But we will. Some in awful ways, some younger than they thought, some older than they thought. We will die. So why are we even asking ourselves what does life mean?

I asked at the beginning of this what is life’s purpose. And the answer is that life doesn’t have a purpose. Just as simple as that. Life has no meaning. We are victims of casuality. We rely on luck and probability! So, if you don’t find a purpose for living, just create one. It can be as simple, as well as complicated, as being happy. The purpose of life is to live, and to live is to fight for being happy until our very last moment. And even in that moment, we should think: I’ll be dead soon, but at least I had a great life.

We are here right now just because! Stop thinking why your life sucks, because almost everyone’s life sucks! Just grab life by the balls and do whatever it makes you happy. Live your fucking life, dude. Because there is where the beauty of living relies: if life doesn’t have a purpose, you can set the horizon wherever you want.

So the real question is what is life’s purpose for you? What do you want your life to mean? What do you want to do with it? Where is your horizon?
