Once upon a time, the media created a story about me.
In an instant, I was reduced to a sensationalized storyline that likely garnered a lot of clicks and shares.
…and then the media moved on.
Meanwhile, my reputation was irrevocably damaged, I lost my job, and my kids and I were threatened by strangers who wanted us dead.
It’s been nearly two years and the only thing most people “know” about me is what they read in an article and then heard repeated on news programs.
I’m grateful for the people who actually know me. My friends and family who saw through the political propaganda. Those are the people who have supported me emotionally through this bizarre experience.
Those are also the people who’ve encouraged me to tell my story.
Whether you know me well or you’ve never heard of me in your entire life, I’d like to invite you into the most authentic, vulnerable, and raw “getting to know you” experience you’ve likely ever had.
As I write stories for my forthcoming book titled “Older & Wisner,” I’ll share glimpses with monthly supporters and share life updates along the way.
If you’d like to read my stories and lessons learned from my first 51 years of life, get ready for an adventure.
I’m not entirely sure where this journey will take us, but it’ll be fun to create it with you At the end of this process, you will certainly know a lot about me… and you’ll probably learn a lot about yourself, too!
So settle in, it’s going to be a wild ride!
