Great videos about the ARCDROID! Keep it up! I have the exact setup you have. Any chance you have a cut chart you would share for your Everlast plasma? I’m sure the actual numbers may change a bit but, it would give me a good starting point. Thanks again! Dave
Thanks Dave. You really should run test cuts on the material you are using because it will change and it also depends on how stable your arm is. For 14Ga. hot rolled, 1100mm/min give an accurate cut with little bevel. You'll likely have some dross to deal with depending on the geometry. I've cut 1/8" hot rolled anywhere from 1500mm/min down to 700mm/min for accurate, no bevel cuts. Good for holes. Longer straight or curved cuts on 18Ga I've run at 2700. Because of the arm you do have to compromise on the optimal cut speed if you want accuracy and to avoid wobbles. This also means you'll have to remove dross.
