Acerca de Kevin J. Guhl
Hi! I'm Kevin J. Guhl, the writer and researcher behind American Strangeness.
For years I've been exploring the forgotten corners of American history, folklore, cryptozoology, and unexplained mysteries. Rather than chasing sensational headlines, I dig into old newspapers, rare books, archives, and historical records to separate documented fact from folklore while searching for the fascinating "kernel of truth" hidden inside these remarkable stories.
Every article, video, and book represents many hours of research, writing, fact-checking, and hunting down obscure sources. My goal isn't simply to tell strange stories, it's to preserve them before they're lost to time and present them with the care and historical context they deserve.
If my work has informed you, entertained you, or inspired your curiosity, buying me a coffee is a wonderful way to help. Your support helps cover research materials, archival access, books, newspaper databases, website costs, and the countless hours required to produce new investigations.
More than anything, your contribution tells me these forgotten stories matter... and that there's a community of curious people who want to keep exploring America's strange history together.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
