This past week has been super productive, not in word count, but in other ways. I found a significant plot hole in my second romance, which in itself is not great. But even worse the hole is smack in the middle of the sapphic one, which I feel pressure to do perfectly. Not just because it's my first sapphic romance, but because these characters deserve my best ideas.
So I've re-outlined 8 of the middle chapters over the last week. And I feel SO much better about where it's at. It feels more substantial and solid. And we get even more scenes and tension between Nivya and Sloane. I feel like that's a good thing.
I'm starting chapter 12 this week, which means our very first smut scene with our FMC and MMC! I'm equal parts nervous and excited because it feels momentous. And it will be. I know my characters will bring an authentic moment.
