About Amber Ginter Johnson
Amber Ginter Johnson is a teacher-turned, traditionally published author, speaker, and Christian mental health advocate who loves Jesus, her husband Ben, and granola.
After growing up searching for faith-based mental health support—and finding very little—Amber now creates honest, hope-filled resources for Gen Z and young adults navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, and church hurt. Her work is informed by both professional training and lived experience with trauma and chronic illness.
Amber is PRS-certified, serves on the TWLOHA Volunteer Response Team, and hosts the Authentically Amber Podcast, where faith and mental health are held together with nuance, compassion, and depth.
She believes you can love Jesus deeply and still struggle—and that healing is more complex than “just read your Bible and pray more.”
Amber is passionate about meaningful conversations, thoughtful event planning, and creating spaces where young adults feel safe to tell the truth.
