In 2020, I created The Skirt Project — a movement that celebrates the unique stories, strength, and beauty of women through purpose-driven portrait sessions. These sessions are more than just photographs; they are powerful moments of self-expression, healing, and personal celebration. The stories shared through The Skirt Project have inspired and uplifted women within our growing community and beyond.

But one of the most challenging parts of this journey is when a woman’s dream of participating in a Skirt Project Experience Session is put on hold — due to financial barriers, prioritizing everyone else first, or feeling unsure if she’s worthy of something like this.

That’s why we created The Giveback Fund: a community-funded initiative designed to gift four incredible women each year (one each quarter) — no matter their age or stage of life — an unforgettable Skirt Project Experience.

Our goal for 2026 is to raise $2,500, which allows us to fully fund these four Giveback Sessions. Your support helps cover everything needed to make each experience truly magical — including locations, transportation, wardrobe, props, and the creative resources that bring each session to life.

You can also nominate a woman you love — someone whose story inspires you, who gives so much to others, or who you believe deserves a moment of extra celebration and care.
