About Amanda Pope - Texas
Hi, I’m Amanda.
I spent years climbing the corporate ladder — managing projects, leading teams, hitting every deadline like my life depended on it. I loved the work. I was good at it.
And then, I was unexpectedly let go.
What followed was a quiet collapse. I lost more than a job — I lost my identity. The grief was real, and it pulled me into a season of deep depression.
I have had to restart my life over and over again, until this time I was broken to pieces with nothing to lose.
But that breaking point became a turning point.
Help me stay awake as I journey back to college to work on my PHD. I want to become a neuroscientist to study the effects of brain damage sustained in car accidents, falls, football, or any other way we have trauma to our heads.
There has to be awareness so individuals with this brain trauma can receive psychological help before it's too late.
With Love,
Amanda
