Monster Hunter: Wilds launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on February 28, 2025. The game will be available in multiple versions, including a standard physical or digital edition, a limited Steelbook Edition, and two higher-priced digital editions that come with exclusive content.
My people who want to secure their physical copy can preorder Monster Hunter: Wilds for PS5 and Xbox Series X at basically any known gaming retailer, like Gamestop and Amazon, and doing so gets you some cool pre-order bonuses.

First up we have the Standard Edition pre-order.. 
You get the Guild Knight layered armor set and the Hope Talisman item. These bonuses are included with all digital and physical pre-orders across the board. Pre-ordering one of the Monster Hunter: Wilds digital editions from the PlayStation Store also gets you an exclusive mini digital art book. If you don’t have the base game, no worries, the standard edition comes not only with the perks from the DLC, it also comes with Monster Hunter Worlds.
For those of you THAT LOVE Steelbook editions.. I have some good news for you. 
There's a $75 Monster Hunter: Wilds Steelbook edition. This version includes everything in the standard edition, plus a limited-edition Steelbook case featuring unique cover art.
Next up we have the Digital Deluxe Edition..
Which includes the base game and all pre-order bonuses from the Standard Edition, plus what you’ll be getting in the Deluxe Pack. You’ll gain additional layered armor sets for your hunter, Palico partner, and Seikret mount, an extra talisman, and a selection of cosmetic items.
Lastly we have the Premium Deluxe Edition..
This Edition comes out to $110.. And is of course another digital only edition. However you will be getting a whole slew of in game items. It includes everything in the Digital Deluxe Edition, plus access to two DLC cosmetic packs, an exclusive music track, and to top it all off, a few more cosmetic items for your hunter to wear in-game.
Side note and Attention to my PC players, even though you can't get the Steelbook case with your preorder, you can save big if you’re not into the bells and whistles. Check out Monster Hunter: Wilds at Fanatical. The PC storefront is taking preorders for Steam keys for all three digital editions: standard, deluxe, and premium deluxe. You'll save 18% on your Monster Hunter Wilds Steam pre-order. So about $20 on the Premium package.
If you’re living in Japan.. I have some cool news for you guys! You get a Collector’s Edition, and an Ultra Collector’s Edition, that comes with a freaking bike! 
The regular Monster Hunter Wilds Collector's Edition comes with a beautiful Steelbook case containing a PS5 copy of the game, a fluffy baby seikret plush, and a small pouch styled after the game's weapon bags - alongside in-game bonuses from the digital deluxe versions of course.
If you upgrade to the Ultra Collector's Edition, then you'll also get a bike. A real bike. A bike that you can actually take out in the world and ride.. According to the publisher’s website, “It supports the Movement of Hunters.”
