If you happen to be on the hunt for some amazing holiday gifts for the favorite gamer in your life, I have some sweet ideas for you. Collector’s editions for games are one of the best gifts you can give, from sweet in-game add ons, to actual tangible items, like figures and statues. Whether your special person is into fighting games, anime, or both. I have an amazing list of Collector’s editions that will make any gift you give, spectacular.
First up we have the Tekken 8 Collector’s edition, which is available for Ps5, Xbox Series X, and Steam. No matter which edition you choose, they all come with the same stuff. You get the base game of course as a physical disc. You’ll receive a sweet steelbook to keep your disc nice and cozy. Plus you’ll receive 8 glossy collectable cards, Leroy Smith metal ring and velvet pouch, and a cool arcade token. To top it all off, you’ll also be getting this badass Electrified Jin figurine that will literally look good no matter where you put it.
The digital items include a playable character year one pass, four additional playable characters and a four avatar skins (Kinjin, Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, and Jun Kazama. The digital items will also include two character costumes, a gold suit pack (one costume per each playable character (32 in total)), and an avatar costume (a classic Tekken T Shirt set (32 different designs)).
The best place to order this edition is through Bandai Namco, there are a few other retailers selling them as well for around the same price $199.99.
Next up we have Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s edition.
Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s edition is available on Ps5, Steam, and Xbox Series X. Same with Tekken 8, no matter what edition you choose you’ll receive the same stuff. You do however need Elden ring in order to play this deliciously dark DLC. The codes are compatible with all consoles, so if you buy the xbox series version it can be played on Xbox one, and same with Ps5 version being played on the Ps4.
The Collector’s edition includes the expansion code voucher, a digital original soundtrack, a physical artbook, and the dark demigod Messemer the Impaler figure.
The best place to buy this collector’s edition is Bandai Namco, so far they have the cheapest price $249.99.
Third up we have Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja: Storm Connections, and this baby has two different collector’s editions you can choose from. There is the regular Collector’s edition, and the Premium Collector’s edition.
The Collector’s editions, no matter which console you choose, come with the same things. This edition is available for Ps4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam players. The Collector’s edition includes the physical copy of the game, the official steelbook with original artwork, a special Collector's game case inlay with original artwork, and an awesome 20th Anniversary version of the Naruto And Sasuke exclusive figurine set.
So far Bandai Namco has the cheapest price on this set for $99.99.
The Premium Collector’s edition for Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja: Storm connections is definitely the one you want if you’re a hardcore collector. This edition comes with the base game, an original art steelbook case, a special collector’s inlay with artwork, 6 collectable cards featuring Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsulo. Plus an exclusive wall scroll, and 2 figurines of Naruto and Sasuke (also the 20th anniversary version). This edition is only available for Ps5, Xbox Series X, and Steam players.
The Premium Collector’s edition also comes with everything the Ultimate and the Deluxe editions offer as well. So you get the season pass, plus the season pass bonus Naruto Uzumaki (Great Ninja War: End), Kakashi Hatake (Maskless), and a whole slew of costume and accessory packs. Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki (Genin Costume), Sakura Haruno, Ino Yamanaka, and Tenten (The Perfect Day for a Wedding), Hidan’s Sickle, and Sword of Nunoboko.
So far the cheapest for the Premium Collector’s edition is also through Bandai Namco for $139.99.
Fourth on the list is a new release, Unknown 9: AWAKENING Collector's Edition.
Unknown 9: AWAKENING Collector's Edition is available for Ps5 and Xbox Series X, both console editions come with the same exact items. The Collector’s edition includes the physical copy of the game, a sweet metal case, and a collector's coin (which are the coins awarded to new Quaestors within the Leap Year Society). You’ll also get a metal amulet (the amulet is given to Haroona by her mentor Reika early in Unknown 9: Awakening. Reika presents this gift as a keepsake), a Quaestor’s Journal (The journal contains notes and scraps from a Quaestor trying to uncover hidden mysteries. The cover is in leather structural foil and the first and last 24 pages in 4 color print), and a collector’s box to put all your stuff in.
So far the cheapest I’ve found for Unknown 9: AWAKENING Collector's Edition is also through Bandai Namco for $109.99.
Last on the list of sweet Collector’s editions is another newly released edition, Sand Land.
Sand Land is available for Ps5, Ps4, and Xbox Series X. All of the editions include the same items.
The Sand Land Collector’s edition includes the physical disc of the base game, and an Exclusive Beelzebub Figurine and base. It’s just the extra little bit you need to make this edition a special gift for the holidays.
So far the cheapest is still at Bandai Namco and is going for $99.99.
Most of these Collector’s editions are exclusive to Bandai Namco, however smaller retailers and resellers are also selling them in other places as well. So far Bandai Namco still has everyone beat on prices, and they do an excellent job with shipping. If you’re looking for some holiday goodies, definitely check these out. You can’t go wrong with a Collector’s edition of your loved ones favorite game.
