When ex-Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks receives an SOS Benjamin Carver (former squad mate), she and Davis 01 head to the remote planet Purdan to investigate and find out what's going on. Before they know it, deeply personal stakes emerge to plunge both Zula and Davis deeper into the dark heart of Purdan to expose, and of course escape, the deadly horrors lurking within.
An all-new action-horror entry into the classic franchise, Alien: Rogue Incursion transforms you into Zula Hendricks.. The ex-Colonial Marine hellbent on exposing Weyland-Yutani’s black-site experiments.. on an extremely dangerous mission to the uncharted planet Purdan.
With her synth companion Davis 01 for guidance, Zula must infiltrate the infested Gemini Exoplanet Solutions research facility and survive the ever-present threat of the most cunning Xenomorphs ever encountered, with both skilled stealth and serious firepower at her disposal. And when the threat she discovers has extinction-level consequences, Zula suddenly finds herself with humanity’s fate on her shoulders.
The game so far has some mostly positive reviews, aside from the few curators on Steam who claim the game is too DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), but don't go into detail on why. The only other complaint is the availability to change your skin for your character, but because VR is still in it's early phases, you can't see what you're actually wearing. Most of the reviews talk about how fun and enjoyable the game is, and they would like the developers to keep working on it to make it even better.
Alien: Rogue Incursion released on PC, Ps5, and PSVR2. The upcoming Quest 3 port, will be February 13th, 2025.
