I believe it is a blessing to find your purpose in life. Mine is to create and make art. I did not choose to be an artist. It is my calling. It is my language. It is how I communicate with the world. When I am long gone from this physical plane, my art will remain. It will change many lives, and I will be well known.

Getting my Master’s of Fine Arts has been a dream of mine since I graduated with my Bachelor’s in 2014. Art school is not an easy acceptance, and I have applied more than once. After my first rejection, I refined my artistry by attending art programs and residencies, and alas, I received an acceptance to VCU.

I am 1 of 4 students accepted into my program this year, and the program is full-time, costing a total of ~$80,000. Fortunately, I have received tuition support and funding awards toward my tuition so far, but I still need help. I have $20,000 left that I will have to cover on my own.

For my birthday this year, I am asking my family and friends to contribute to my grad school fund and help me with my dream. Any amount means so much to me!
