20th June 1560 Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl Huntingdon, died. Buried at the Hastings Chapel, Ashby de la Zouche. He had done well to survive given his son Henry had married Katherine, sister of Guildford Dudley who was married to Lady Jane Grey at the same ceremony.
