Writing about feline behavioral issues

As someone who loves cats I never understood cat owners who said: "we couldn't bring him to the clinic because we couldn't put him in the carrier!" -- until I had to take my own cats to the clinic one day and...
Yes, I couldn't put them in the carriers. Еhe first cat, sensing something wrong, ducked under the sofa; the second flew onto the closet.
Since then, I started studying cat behavior and became fascinated by it. Their body language, ways of communicating and expressing emotions are very different from those of humans or dogs. That's why we humans often misinterpret it. This is where most of the problems of cat behavior come from (soiling out of the litter box, obsessive meowing, aggressiveness, fear of carriers, etc.)
The purpose of this blog is to help cat owners (current and future) better understand their cats and their behavioral motivations; and to help them deal with problematic and undesirable cat behaviors.
