Hola! I'm Alison, a travel blogger and lover of the great outdoors. Originally from the Isle of Man I'm now based in Andalucia in southern Spain. The idea for Alison on Foot came about as I began to plan to walk the Camino de Santiago from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. My aim is for this website to be a useful resource for other walkers and hikers. I also plan to showcase the very best that Andalucia has to offer, and share a little insight into life in this beautiful part of Spain. Most of my walks are fuelled by a cafe con leche (or two!) so if you would like to support my work by buying me a coffee I'd be really grateful - the more coffee I drink, the more I walk, the more content I can write!
