Über Alin Bratu
Hello everyone!
My name is Alin. I am a husband to a beautiful wife, father to a young boy, and a photographer based in Eastern Europe.
My photography focuses on architecture, photojournalism, people and capturing raw emotion, quiet moments, aging, and deep inner states. I am drawn to objective storytelling, nature, and authentic human connection. To me, photography is simple: it is about truth, emotion, and the moment.
My journey began around the age of 13 when my parents gave me my first film camera for Christmas. I fell in love instantly. I still fondly remember a trip with them: I took a close-up portrait, and my mother was convinced I had ruined the shot. But when the roll was developed, it turned out to be a beautiful photograph. Even back then, looking through that viewfinder, I knew exactly what I wanted to capture. It became my very first "masterpiece."
I create out of pure love for the craft, documenting the world so future generations can look back on our times just as I admire photographs from the early 1900s.
It is a true honor to share my work with you. Thank you for supporting my artistic journey! I look forward to hearing from you, answering your photography questions, or chatting about my ongoing projects in the Dobrogea region.
Have a wonderful day!
