Hey, I'm Ali — a senior software engineer in Vancouver who runs on coffee and curiosity. By day I build SaaS products with Python, Django, and React. By night (and weekends, and lunch breaks) I tinker on open source: MCP servers for Telegram and WhatsApp, a Claude Code skills library, a Rust permissions hook, a Persian news bot, a Chrome extension that detects hate speech on Twitter, and whatever else I can't stop thinking about.
