We spend a lot of time saying we want to be happier, feel more fulfilled, or create a life we love. But what does that actually look like?

Sometimes, we get so caught up in wanting things to feel different that we forget to define what different means to us.

And if you don't know what you're working toward, how can you intentionally build a life that supports it?

Here's where I want you to start: get specific about how you want your life to feel.

Discover: Reconnect With What Brings You Joy

Start by paying attention.

What are the moments in your day when you feel most like yourself? What makes you smile, brings you peace, or leaves you feeling energized?

Recently, I've been listening to sermons and reading scripture, and I can physically feel the joy filling my body. That's a pretty clear sign that I want more of it in my life. Making my morning coffee puts a smile on my face. Colouring while watching my favourite show helps me unwind after a long day. None of these things are particularly extraordinary. But they're small, tangible moments that contribute to how I want to feel.

Try new things. Pay attention to how they make you feel. Keep what's good and let go of what doesn't serve you.

You don't need to reinvent your entire life. Sometimes, you just need to notice what's already working.

Choose: Decide What You're Working Toward

Once you have a better understanding of what matters to you, choose a direction.

Maybe you want to experience more joy, contentment, or fulfillment. Perhaps you have a specific goal in mind, like running a race, finding a new job, or writing a book. Both are valuable places to start.

The important thing is to choose something that matters to you, rather than pursuing something because you think you should.

You don't need ten goals and a colour-coded plan for the next five years. You need one meaningful thing to focus on right now.

Build: Create a System That Supports You

Good intentions are wonderful, but they don't always translate into action. This is where systems come in.

If you want more joy, how can you intentionally create space for it in your week? If you want to write a book, what time will you dedicate to writing? If you're working toward a new career, what steps will move you closer? Experiment with different tools, routines, and approaches until you find something that works for your life.

And if you're struggling to figure out how to turn your goals into a practical plan, this is exactly what I help women do in my Clarity Sessions. Together, we build a personalized system that supports your goals without adding unnecessary overwhelm.

Become: Keep Showing Up for Yourself

Here's the part that makes the difference: consistency.

You don't need a perfect system. You need one that works well enough to help you move forward, with room to adjust as your life changes. Keep showing up. Make adjustments when something isn't working. Celebrate your progress along the way. Every time you follow through on something that matters to you, you're building trust in yourself. And over time, you're becoming the woman who doesn't just dream about the life she wants, but intentionally creates it.

You don't have to change everything overnight. You just have to get clear on what matters, choose where you're going, and take the next step.

So, what do you want your life to feel like? And what is one thing you can do today to start creating it?
