My channels are changing

Perhaps I should start this short post with an apology, as I’ve not contributed to this page as often as I had intended. I could make the same reference to my social media pages also, which haven’t had any regular updates. Social media as a whole is very time consuming and finding the time to commit regularly to posting to followers is getting a little more challenging, especially working around my busy schedule and regular job. I’m only human and hopefully regular followers and subscribers to my YouTube channel will appreciate the difficulties we all face in life. It’s far easier to watch a YouTube video or read a social media post, than it is to create them, and then, find the time to respond to all the comments left by others.

Finding the time for content creation is also getting far more challenging, and if I’m honest, it’s so much easier to create transport videos compared to travel videos. Saying that, I enjoy creating travel content far more, especially when it comes to discovering something historically different from the places I travel to. As YouTube changes, so do creators in order to continue to provide my audience with a range of engaging content. There are numerous changes happening within YouTube currently, and I recently made a video answering the question: Do I have a future on YouTube? This video is on my travel channel if you haven’t seen it yet.

The first of my new style of travel series is now coming to my two channels, whereby the videos are split between my two channels. Next week, the second part of my journey from Stansted to Dordrecht will be available to watch, followed immediately by the video trailer for this new series, which will be on my travel channel. I’m hoping that creating content in this way, across my two channels, will enable me to create more content and produce a greater variety of travel and transport content in the limited time I have available.

There will be further updates regarding my two channels in my bi-annual, magazine style series of videos uploaded to my travel channel every June and December. This is where I cover my channels progress along with behind the scenes information and special features.
