My transport channel

imageTravelling on public transport can be a good way of going from one place to another, assuming everything goes to plan. In the real world, there are often too many reasons as to why there are delays. I guess that's what makes travelling on public transport so challenging at times. I plan all of my trips very carefully trying to avoid any problems and I always have a backup plan just in case I have one.

This is why I'm now developing my transport channel further, to record all of the issues I experience when travelling if they arise. On some of my recent trips, I've had a few unexpected issues, especially the long delay I endured flying Ryanair to Trieste last year. That was an issue I couldn't have predicted nor was the overpriced hotel room I was forced rent whilst travelling through Kosice.

I'm now actively creating more content for my transport channel, Alice's Transport World, in order to capture all these potential problems when travelling, showing my views just how I travel along with my accommodation. It's also far easier to make transport content compared to my normal history and travel content, giving me additional content when travelling. I have a new series coming shortly from Toulouse in France, and had a small issue upon arrival, as you will see from the video.

However, there is more to public transport than simply travelling from one location to another. Transport challenges are also great fun to do, racing against coaches, trains and planes to any given location can be fun giving many more video options. In recent weeks, I've undertaken many transport challenges on the London Underground and plan to undertake many more in the future. In each of these videos, there will be some history as well, and some transport related and perhaps come across more vintage steam trains outside railway stations, just like the ones I spotted in Maribor and Celje last year.

Transport museums are numerous in every country and I always enjoy visiting them, as you never know just what will be on display. I’m now filming my museum visits, and the first will be the Aeroscopia (Airbus) Museum in Toulouse, and what a day I had! There are many more adventures planned, and lots of exciting transport content also, so I hope you will enjoy following my travels around the world.
