I just noticed that the trope with He Fell First, He Also Fell Harder are mostly the ones with green flag male leads. People would think it’s the FL who fell first but I think otherwise. While it might be hinted a little that the female leads train of thoughts mostly contain of the male lead, based on my analyzation to these stories, it’s only to put a shine on the male lead. Doesn’t mean that the female lead had already fallen in love to the male lead. This trope has a plot where the female lead needed something from the male lead, to use them to protect themselves or to extract revenge. That is why almost every female lead in this trope’s first objective is not to fall in love but a higher goal than that. Here are my recommendations of this certain trope:
